1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing our website, enrolling in a course, booking a class or placement test, or making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. Where a student is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must read and accept these Terms on the student’s behalf.

2. About our services

BFL School provides English and Chinese language instruction to university students, adult learners, and other students, in line with internationally recognized frameworks (such as CEFR for English and HSK standards for Chinese). Course descriptions, levels, schedules, and fees published on our website are provided in good faith and may be updated from time to time. We aim to deliver our courses as described, but specific outcomes, scores, or results cannot be guaranteed, as they depend on each student’s effort, attendance, and circumstances.

3. Enrollment & eligibility

To enroll, you must provide accurate and complete information through our registration forms or at our office. You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date.

• A place in a class is confirmed only once enrollment is completed and any required payment is received.
• Students may be placed into a level based on a placement test or assessment.
• We may decline or cancel an enrollment where information is inaccurate, where a class does not reach a minimum number of students, or where conduct requirements are not met.
• Students under 18 must be enrolled with the consent and support of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Tuition & payment

Tuition is charged on a per-term (semester) basis as published or as quoted to you at the time of enrollment. Unless stated otherwise:

• Tuition is payable in full before a course begins, or according to any payment arrangement agreed with us in writing;
• Payments may be made through our accepted methods, including ABA Bank (ABA PayWay), KHQR, and other methods we offer;
• Fees are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise, and may exclude optional materials or external examination fees;
• A place is reserved only once payment is confirmed.

We may revise our fees from time to time. Fee changes do not affect a term you have already paid for in full.

5. Refunds & cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review that policy for full details on eligibility, timeframes, and how to request a refund or transfer.

6. Attendance & conduct

To get the most from your course, regular attendance and participation are expected. Missed classes are generally not refundable or transferable except as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We ask all students to treat teachers, staff, and fellow students with respect. We may suspend or remove a student, without refund, for behavior that is disruptive, dishonest, unlawful, or that endangers or harasses others.

7. Schedule & changes

We make reasonable efforts to run classes as scheduled. However, we may need to change a teacher, reschedule, combine, or cancel a class — for example, due to insufficient enrollment, teacher availability, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control. Where a class is cancelled by us, we will offer a suitable alternative, a make-up session, a transfer, or, where appropriate, a refund in line with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Intellectual property

All content on our website and in our courses — including text, lessons, materials, logos, the BFL name, images, and curriculum — is owned by or licensed to BFL School and is protected by intellectual property laws. Course materials are provided for your personal learning only. You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, or publish our materials without our prior written permission.

9. Acceptable website use

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Use it for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data;
• Interfere with or disrupt the website’s operation or security;
• Submit false information or impersonate another person;
• Copy, scrape, or misuse content in breach of our intellectual property rights.

10. Disclaimers & liability

Our website and its content are provided on an “as is” basis. While we work to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that the website will always be available, error-free, or free of viruses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BFL School is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Cambodian law.

11. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cambodia. We will always try to resolve any concern with you directly and in good faith first.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. By continuing to use our website or services after changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms.
